Charlie Allen Weekly Scan

I adore this man, Charlie Allen, who is my grandpa's age (88!). He was a commercial illustrator during Mad Men times. Every week from 2008-09 he, with the help of a friend, scanned and posted work from his "portfolio" while providing a bit of historical narrative and perspective.

So, so sweet. December 9, 2009 was his last post after putting up about 2/3 of the work from his career. via Design Observer: Observed
